This following testimony call "Interview" by Brother Billy Paul Branham was done at
Jeffersonville, Indiana in August 1994. This reason we have included this testimony
on here, is because of the lack of real leadership expressed toward the youth (parental...etc).
To feel the love, concern, guidance from leaders toward the youth is unmeasurable.

Interview

Thank you Brother Michael Tidwell. I appreciate being with you, and it's just so good to
be with you again. As we were up at Brother Roy Shrewsbury's the other day, you asked me
then about giving a little testimony for the paper. And well, I always count that a honor.
And I just wanted to say what a privilege that is, especially something for the young people.
I've read some of the papers. Sister Angel Smith use to send me some of them (Becky and
George's girl.) She is here now. She was here today, she just came in for a few days.
Now, Isaac, Brother Joseph's boy, is getting married here, the last of August, (94) I
think... so she came in to be with him for a little bit, him to meet his future bride.
But, I just want to say what a blessing it is and to know that you, as young people, love
the Lord Jesus. That he's real in your life. And that you have surrendered your life to
him and that you want him to lead you, and guide, and direct you. I remember what Brother
Branham said, he said, "We don't pray for the young people like we should." And I also
remember how in Blushing Prophet that he said, " We don't know the troubles, and
trials, and the burdens and things that the young people go through. Brother Branham
said, " Us old folks don't pray for them like we use to, and we don't pray for them like
we should." And so I think that it is so important as parents, and as brothers and sisters,
pray especially for the young people. Because we don't really know what's all out there for
them. And Brother Branham also said, "A young person without a real born again experience,
it doesn't make any difference how good of a Christian home they come from, you have to have a
personal experience, and if you don't have that personal experience with Jesus Christ, he said
rock n roll music will get you." And that it is so important that you have a personal experience.
You don't hear those things preached out there like that. And Brother Branham had a real
love and respect for the young people. Like I was talking to Brother Hickerson the other
day, we were speaking, I said, the young men that Brother Branham talked about in the back
room on the tape, Taking Sides With Jesus, that's us today. And here I am, three years older
than my daddy was when he went to be with the Lord. And now it's you, and if there is a
tomorrow, you say, well, the Lord is coming. Well, we know the Lord's coming, but until
then we got to work until Jesus comes and until then, that's what your doing now. And that
is what's so important. And to be encouraged and to keep on. And now like your too young,
you didn't know Brother Branham and the only way you know is by those who tell you and what
you hear on the tapes. But it's so important that we have it anchored within us and that it
really comes from an experience with JESUS CHRIST. Brother Branham said everybody must
have a personal experience themselves. And so that's why when I see young people out there,
you know, doing their thing and to see others who are really concentrated to the Lord and
wants to serve them with all their heart, it makes me feel so good! And
I was reading an article the other day, Michael, it was so expressive. They were talking
about two million young people a day world wide attempted suicide. Two million, Michael.
I mean, we don't realize that it's like that. Two million young people that they get it,
in there mind and try to think about suicide in a day. They say, a person like Brother
Billy's age, I'm fifty eight years old. Like, if he started drinking that it would take
ten years for him to become an alcoholic. But a young person like yourself, began to
drink, it's six months that he'll become an alcoholic because of the metabolism in your
body and things. So, it's so important that we know the ways of the Lord and for the
young people to know that they can truly serve him. And I was reading another article and
it said the average daddy this, is it so shocking to me, the average daddy, spends thirty-seven
seconds a day with his son or with his children. That's all he spends is an average of only
thirty-seven seconds a day. So, we are very thankful that we have Christian parents that pray
and help us, that bring us along. That's so important. May God bless, and encourage your
heart, and keep up the good work. And if Brother Billy can ever do anything for you, you just

Influences ...Now, we find that usually... I--I think today, our great problem of what
we believe to be juvenile delinquency is a parent delinquent, a home delinquent. Our--our
people got away from the things that they--they should've stayed with. The church got lukewarm
or cold, and the children got out into the world.

Greetings to you in the all sufficient name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who
gave himself for us that we might have life eternal.
Thank you for your kind word of encouragement regarding the International
Missions Conference. Truly the Holy Spirit was present during these days,
confirming our desire to present the missions work of other brethren as well
as the vision God has given to us, and one we have sought earnestly to
fulfill over the last many years. It is an answer to my prayers to have the
hearts of young men such as yourself moved to a deeper commitment of self
sacrifice for Christ. As you press onward, I'm certain that God will open

The Eagle's View History | ||||
When Eagle’s View began I was only fifteen years old. You might say, Eagle’s View and I have grown up together. EV had a very humble beginning. The first issues were done primarily by my dad and I. The pictures we used for the first couple of issues, were pictures that we had cut out of magazines. We would go buy a bunch of old magazines at the library, and go thru them cutting out all the pictures, that we thought we might could use. Then we would paste them with scotch tape to the page to made copies for distributing. Sometimes the rough copy would weigh almost five pounds when we were through. Back then we did not know anything about Desktop Publishing. I remember the first font program we bought. We took it home and tried to run it, we could not get it to work. It took us hours just to get it to load, not counting the time it took us to figure out how to apply the fonts to the page. Starting an issue of EV is like beginning a one thousand piece puzzle. It seems like a hopeless case. Yet, God has always made a way for us to complete each issue. Every issue is a learning experience not only physically but spiritually. As the years have passed since that humble start I am more and more convinced that EV has been divinely influenced. Some believers claim to have very issue we have ever printed. Others often share with us, that from time to time they re-read the testimonies for encouragement. That is only one of the reasons, we feel compelled to share the good news of God in the printed format. Even tho we have this web site, I think holding a printed copy of EV in your hand personalizes the reader with this world wide message. In 1996 we posted this web site making EV among the first message web sites on the Internet. However, all along our aim has been to make EV your paper. That why we are printing more that even before. Because of the printed paper, it has led people to Christ, encourged the weak, and strengthen the church, and never goes out of circulation. The Eagle's View has gone thru many changes since our first issue. One of the major changes is the page size format and color printing. The most recent efforts are to expand EV circulation. Through the year’s countless people have shared their testimonies. We appreciate each one of you who has given your time, prayers and offerings to see this ministry continue. I would also like to thank all those who have worked with the mailing in our church fellowship hall. The number has reached into the hundreds over the years. I know God will bless you. From day one, our desire has been to get as many people involved as possible. That is still our goal. Please, keep us in your prayers, that the Lord will lead and guide us. Receiving Eagle's View
In February of 1993, we began a little publication called Eagle's View for the youth of our
church in LaVergne, TN. Our first issue had a circulation of around 100 copies and it was
only 4 small pages. Before we completed our first newsletter we were planning ahead.
